Precision Group was founded in 2008
by 27-year-old Cory Hall, a knock-about Aussie bloke with a resilient spirit and an entrepreneurial drive.
Cory was just 14 when he started his working life at Melbourne Mailing: employed by his Uncle Ralph who owned Melbourne Mailing as a materials handler. He later worked as Production Manager and Operations Manager before leaving Melbourne Mailing to set up Precision with Ralph.
With the assistance of long time business partner, Ralph Russell, Cory has built the Precision Group of companies into a full-service company. As of 2022, Ralph & Cory bought out Melbourne Mailing, bringing their journey full circle.
Amidst the industry’s challenge of high staff turnover, Cory and Ralph take pride in the team they have assembled at Precision Group. Focused on fostering a positive environment and leading by example, they have created a workplace that people don’t want to leave. Both Ralph and Cory say, the people behind Precision Group are the true accomplishment, reflecting the essence of their journey from hiring a 14-year-old materials handler to the visionary team leading a thriving business.

Precision mail-house was born in Thomastown, Melbourne
2009
Became an accredited Bulk Mail Partner through Australia Post’s BMP program
2010
Graphic design division opens
2011
Invested in our first fleet of digital printers and purchased the plastic wrap division of DataSend Australia
2012
Moved into larger premises
2014
Precision Fundraising is born, and we became an FIA (Fundraising Institute of Australia) original member
2016
Moved to an even bigger site and became a National Awards Partner with the Fundraising Institute of Australia
2017
PCI DSS accreditation commenced, along with accreditation for ISO 9001 2017 Quality Assurance
2018
Purchased new high-speed intelligent mailing machines, acquired The Place to Print, and installed new A1 offset press and in-house bindery equipment to make us fully self-sufficient
2019
Re-branded as Precision Group, acquired MailPro Australia, expanded into New Zealand via partnership with Soar Print NZ, and became a Diamond Partner of Fundraising Institute of New Zealand (FINZ)
2021
Founded Fundraising Logic and Business Logic
2022
Completed acquisition of Melbourne Mailing and Manark Print & Press, moved to bigger premises at Somerton, and acquired long-time partner, SHA (telefundraising)
2022
Awarded Top 50 by ProPrint
2023
Established Fundraising Nest, acquired 50% of Clover Marketing, and opened a new telefundraising call centre in Brisbane

Achieved ISO certification across Melbourne Mailing, Precision Group & Precision Fundraising: 9001, 45001, 14001, 27001

We merge Precision Connect with Donorlink to create Advanced Impact. A telephone fundraiser with AI powered digital channel integration.
