Meet the Team

Cory

CEO
Precision Group

Our resident mad scientist, Cory is equal parts strategist, problem-solver, and creative disruptor, with a background in data, technology, and campaign implementation. He’s the driving force behind many of our most exciting projects – always experimenting, always testing, always asking “what if we did it this way?” It’s this fearless curiosity that keeps us moving forward and helps our clients stay one step ahead. Just don’t ask him what he’s working on right now. It’s probably top secret.

Jess

Overall People, Culture and Strategy expert

Jess heads up three of the most important things at Precision: strategy, people and culture. With a career in learning and educational leadership she is perfect to take Precision from good to great. When Jess joined Precision Group, her first focus was to truly understand where the company was at—its people, its leadership, and its overall direction. Because real, lasting change always starts with genuine understanding and a clear plan, this is what brings people along because they understand the why.

  1. What is the proudest moment in your history at Precision?Being a part of some substantial print and mail campaigns and seeing the collective efforts of teams working together to ensure success really showed the strength of the Precision family in action. We’re all not afraid to roll up our sleeves and make sure the hard stuff gets done.
  2. What skills and knowledge have you taken from your Education career into Precision? As an educator and life long learner myself, I bring a passion for continuous learning and development. I’m committed to supporting my colleagues by fostering the growth of skills and knowledge within our teams, ensuring they are always evolving to meet the needs of our clients and achieve high-quality outcomes.
  3. What are the people like in Precision? They are passionate, committed and eager to make sure our clients are well serviced.

By leveraging the latest technology and staying ahead of trends, we’ll seek to enhance our services, increase efficiency, and continuing to deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Nick

General Manager
Precision Group

While he had his start account managing our mail industry clients, Nick worked his way up to General Manager of the entire Precision Group. We think of him as the guy who makes things happen, whether he’s steering the ship as GM or sealing a deal in sales. Leading by example, Nick has helped foster our incredible team culture and considers our people our greatest asset (he’s right). In fact, Nick says it best, that “behind every good business there are good people,” and he’s one of them.

  1. What is the proudest moment in your history at Precision? There is not one moment. The innovation, continual improvement and people are the proudest moments
  2. What was your first job in the industry? Various roles at Australia Post including Key Account Manager managing Mailing Industry clients. My first role at PG was BDM
  3. What would your biggest client say about Precision? More of a partner than a supplier and no request is too difficult to provide a solution
  4. What would your smallest client say about Precision? The size of the client doesn’t matter because Precision treats all clients with the same level of service.
  5. What are the people like in Precision? People of Precision are our greatest asset and take great pride in what they do and how they do it. Behind every good business there are good people.

Mia

Founder
Clover Marketing

Mia is the head of our digital marketing division, Clover Marketing. For her, the decision to partner with Precision was a no-brainer – it meant both Clover and Precision’s clients got access to a wider range of services, minus the headache of dealing with multiple service providers. Mia brings her digital expertise and highly skilled digital marketing team to Precision – a win-win for all of us!

  1. Why did you partner your digital agency with Precision? Partnering Clover Marketing with Precision Group was a straightforward decision to enhance our ability to serve clients with a wider range of services. Precision’s multi-channel capabilities, from telemarketing and strategy to print and mail, perfectly complement Clover’s digital expertise, enabling us to offer all-inclusive solutions and maximise results for our clients.
  2. What would your biggest client say about Precision? Our largest clients value Precision’s ability to deliver comprehensive solutions. They’d say that Precision’s strategic insights and multi-channel offerings help drive outstanding engagement and results across multiple platforms.
  3. What would your smallest client say about Precision? Smaller clients appreciate Precision Group’s personalised approach. They’d say that Precision feels like part of their own team—responsive, attentive, and able to provide the same level of commitment and expertise as they do to larger accounts.
  4. What are the people like in Precision? The team at Precision is a mix of creative, strategic, and data-focused professionals. Collaborative and solution-driven, they bring extensive knowledge to each project, with a focus on client success and a constant drive for innovation.

Chris

Director
Precision Fundraising

Heading up our creative division, Chris is a big believer in involving clients in the work we do. After all, they know their donors best! Over his years in the role he’s tackled some impressive creative challenges, bringing his unique approach to client work and putting his 15 years of fundraising experience into action. What brings him the most satisfaction? Seeing a creative project develop from an initial idea into a finished product – with one very happy client at the end of it.

  1. What is the proudest moment in your history at Precision? It’s difficult to pick one specific moment as there have been quite a few. I’m most proud of my team for helping to breath new life into Precision Fundraising. We now have a very different approach to tackling creative challenges which has resulted in some fantastic results for our clients. It still gives me great job satisfaction seeing a creative project develop from an initial idea into a finished product. It’s also what makes Precision unique as we have instant, direct communication available to us with our production department which you don’t often get to do as a creative.
  2. What was your first job in the industry? My first role in fundraising was a Junior Designer position with a UK fundraising agency named Bluefrog. I came across an advert online for the role which was a brief to design a pack for Barnardos that included a balloon as a motivation piece. This really stood out to me as I’d never thought about using my creative skills to do good, but the more I got into answering the brief and developing the creative the more it felt like the right path for me, and this resulted in me being hired. 15 years later and I’m still fundraising, although my role within it has changed dramatically. I still look back fondly of my first few years with Bluefrog, as my time with them gave me some fantastic foundations in agency life and creating engaging solutions for great causes.
  3. What would your biggest client say about Precision? I would say our biggest client sees us as an extension of their team and not simply a provider of services for them. We hold regular catch ups with all our clients and try to support them wherever we can. We also like to involve our clients with the work we do and ensure they are included at key stages in the creative process especially when it comes to fundraising as they know their donors better than anyone which is essential for creating effective solutions which translate into great results.
  4. What would your smallest client say about Precision? I would hope similar to our biggest client as our service offering shouldn’t change depending on their size. I’ve always wanted to deliver the service I’d expect if I was a client and ensure they enjoy working with us as a partner. It’s important that we support our smaller clients as they often do not have the resources and skill sets available to larger organisations.
  5. What are the people like in Precision? Supportive. As a company we’ve grown vastly in the last few years, and we’ve done it together. We’ve all had to learn how to adapt to the changes that the growth has brought with it and in many cases develop new skills and learn how to use different tools in order for us to be more efficient as company. Without the support of others and the sharing of knowledge within, makes big change incredibly hard to adapt to. I’m very proud of all the staff here at Precision and the willingness to share and support each other.

Matt G

Systems, Accreditation & Standards Expert

An integral part of the Precision Group, Matt oversees our Integrated Management System, which provides the framework for all our operations. A lot of it involves regularly reviewing the system and looking for ways to improve – something Matt is a bit of an expert at. He often tells his team they need a sign in the office saying, ‘delivering miracles daily’, and we couldn’t agree more. Often Matt and his team are the last link in a long chain, and consistently make up lost time in other parts of the projects to get things delivered on time. He is, quite literally, a miracle worker!

  1. What is the proudest moment in your history at Precision?
Learning four ISO Standards and achieving re-certification for the merged Precision/Melbourne Mailing Group across all 4 standards was certainly a proud moment. It was a steep learning curve but extremely proud that with the support of many people within the Group and our external partners that we were able to successfully modify our management systems to reflect the merged entity and achieve certification for our Quality, OHS, Environment and Information Security Management systems
  2. What was your first job in the industry?
Working in a fulfillment team supporting a fundraising project for Melbourne University. Current students were recruited to tele-fundraise for 4 faculties with the backing of a prominent alumni sponsor from each faculty. Initial outreach was via the student tele-fundraisers with a follow up Direct Mail program. My next major project was running a staff incentive program for Ansett (showing my age here!) tied to the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Both projects were fantastic learning opportunities in the early part of my career and helped develop sound fundamentals that have served me well.
  3. How do you ensure Precision is the best it can be?
My role involves effective implementation of our Integrated Management System which provides the framework of our operations. Making sure the system is regularly reviewed and updated helps ensure we are consistently monitoring and improving how we do business which ultimately reflects in how we serve our customers. From a personal perspective, I aim to lead by example, modelling the attitudes and behaviours that underpin our goal to be a first-choice provider with a reputation for integrity, quality and service.
  4. What are the people like in Precision?
Our people are amazing! I often tell my Team that we should have a sign in our area saying – Delivering Miracles Daily! The energy and commitment I see every day right across the business is genuinely inspiring. Our services are generally the last link in a very long chain, and as a result we are often called upon to make up time lost in other parts of projects that are outside of our control to ensure projects are delivered on time. The fact that we are able to routinely achieve results for our clients, often under real duress is a testament to the absolute commitment, skill and hard work of our team.

Rich

Head of Marketing & Partnerships

In his time with Precision, Rich has headed up the team that rebranded and repositioned Precision Group, Precision Fundraising and Precision Connect – leading us into a new era of Precision. Rich had his start in the industry at a marketing agency in the UK 30+ years ago, so he’s brought such a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team, we don’t know what we’d do without him! When asked why he thinks people and organisations partner with Precision, the answer is simple: everyone from Cory through to factory staff does what they say they will – and we won’t let you down.

  1. What is the proudest moment in your history at Precision? – working on the team that rebranded and repositioned Precision Group, Precision Fundraising and Precision Connect. We have been operating as a collective for years offering a host of services. And now we have a full service production, data, digital, telemarketing and creative offering branded well.
  2. What was your first job in the industry? – I worked as an Account Exec for a direct marketing agency in the UK called Christian Brann. A real trailblazer for direct marketing and had their own production team attached to the creative agency. Which back in the 90s was rare. It was satisfying working with strategists, creatives and analysts to deliver a direct marketing campaign. And really satisfying to be able to see the direct mail packs made on site.
  3. Why do people and organisations partner with Precision? – because from Cory through to the team when we say we will do it we do not let you down.
  4. What are the people like in Precision? – Ingenious, caring and capable. Really good people to know and work with.
